The Carotron D10425000 is a four-quadrant regenerative DC motor drive in Carotron’s D10425 family, delivering precise speed and torque control for shunt-wound or permanent-magnet DC motors. Designed for 115 or 230 VAC input, it provides armature voltages in the 90–180 VDC range and is offered in two chassis ratings: D10425-000 (1/8–1/2 HP) and D10425-200 (1/4–2 HP), making it suitable from fractional to mid-range horsepower applications. Its tachometer feedback options support 7 VDC or 50 VDC per 1,000 RPM, with independently adjustable forward and reverse acceleration and two programmable time ranges to tailor startup behavior. A velocity-loop summing input accepts an isolated signal up to +10 VDC, and control is provided by a high-frequency, multi-pulse gating scheme with three stopping modes—coast, controlled deceleration, and rapid stop (current limit)—to meet diverse process shutdown requirements.
