Storm Interface’s DEGL1200-series magnetic gate lock is a 12V/24V DC, surface-mounted electro-magnetic lock engineered for outdoor and perimeter-gate use, delivering up to 1200 pounds of holding force. It ships with fixing brackets and an armature plate for quick, versatile installation on a wide range of gate configurations and supports both inward and outward opening setups with a comprehensive mounting kit included. Designed for exposed environments, the lock is weather resistant and wired via standard 1-inch threaded conduit, with a user-friendly wiring scheme for 12V or 24V operation. An LED status indicator shows Red when powered and Green when the lock is secured, providing clear visual confirmation of state. Some configurations include a door sensor, and the unit is compatible with Storm Interface power supplies (for example the DEPSU03) to complete the security solution.
