The Axiomatic E491A DeviceNet Processor Module, Revision 6.0, is a dedicated DeviceNet interface processor that provides DeviceNet connectivity for an automation controller. It handles the DeviceNet communications stack and maps I/O data for exchange with field devices, and it reports network diagnostics to the host controller. Configuration is performed with Axiomatic's Electronic Assistant (EA) tool, enabling setup of node addressing, I/O mapping, and diagnostic behavior. This Rev 6.0 module supports industrial automation applications requiring DeviceNet connectivity for sensors, actuators, and other DeviceNet devices on the plant floor.
