Description:
The ACI EFP2G Floating Point to Pneumatic Output Transducer is a compact dual‑valve module that converts a floating‑point electrical input into a proportional pneumatic output, enabling precise control of valves, dampers, and other pneumatic actuators with a 0–15, 0–20 psi selectable range (0–10 psi also available in some configurations). It accepts a floating input signal and provides a 0–5 V feedback signal, with a 0–20 psi output range selectable by jumper settings, and is designed to maintain branch pressure using its two valves, with a built‑in gauge for monitoring. The unit is typically powered from 24 VAC or 24 VDC (nominally 9–24 VAC/VDC input on the digital side) and includes a manual override, LEDs indicating operation, and a specified exhaust path for reliable response. Typical applications include pneumatic valve and damper actuator control, fan vane control, chiller loading, 3‑way mixing valve control, and pilot positioner control, making it suitable for HVAC, process, and industrial automation tasks where a floating point control signal must be translated to a stable, adjustable pneumatic pressure. In addition to its dual‑valve architecture and branch‑pressure maintenance, the EFP2G family offers configurable change rates and an integrated gauge, helping technicians quickly verify output pressure and tune performance in the field.
