Industrial F0-04THM Thermocouple Input Module

The F0-04THM is a 4-channel thermocouple input module for AutomationDirect DirectLogic DL05/06 PLCs, providing four differential (balanced-type) channels that accept common thermocouple types (J, E, K, R, S, T, B, N, and C) with automatic cold junction compensation. It delivers 16-bit resolution per channel with a conversion time of about 270 ms per channel and updates all four inputs per scan, enabling precise temperature readings directly into the DL05/06 backplane. Key electrical specs include an input impedance of 5 MΩ, a common-mode signal range from -1.3 V to +3.8 V, and a minimum common-mode rejection ratio of 100 dB (DC, 50/60 Hz). The module supports a maximum input rating of ±50 V DC and uses the F0-IOCON-THM terminal block (CJC bundled) with a base power draw of approximately 30 mA at 5 V DC. Temperature readings are presented with a 0.1°C resolution, and the device specifies a maximum error of ±3°C excluding the thermocouple error. The F0-04THM operates in DL05/06 environments from 0–60°C, stores between -20 and 70°C, and tolerates 5–95% non-condensing humidity.
