Industrial FB600E Static Relay Switch

The Carriere FB600E Static Trip Relay is a compact retrofit device that replaces aging magnetic trip mechanisms on low‑voltage circuit breakers to provide overload and ground‑fault protection for 600 V class systems. It is powered by current transformers and requires no separate control power; an output pulse from the unit drives the actuator coil to trip the breaker when protection thresholds are reached. The FB600E supports instantaneous, short‑time, long‑time, and ground‑fault protection with selectable pickup levels and times: instantaneous trip with a maximum response of 50 ms at greater than 150% of pickup, short‑time pickup from 2.5 to 10 times CT rating with 0.15–0.40 s pickup delays, and long‑time pickup from 0.5 to 1.25 times CT rating with timing from 2.5 to 20 seconds (times vary with current squared at higher load levels). Ground‑fault protection is included for high‑resistance, solidly grounded, and three‑phase four‑wire systems, and a long‑time pickup LED helps verify threshold during testing. The enclosure is a compact metal housing with a hinged cover and seal provisions for breaker mounting, and it can be used as part of Carriere retrofit kits or with components from other manufacturers.
