Industrial FPQ-75 Machine Vision Light Source

FPQ-75 from CCS is a high-output, square, low-angle machine-vision light source that emits red illumination at a nominal 660 nm. The compact 75 × 75 × 30 mm housing weighs about 160 g and uses a diffused square optic designed to illuminate from a shallow angle, reducing glare on reflective surfaces to enhance feature visibility in inspection workflows. It is powered from 12 V DC and consumes up to 3.6 W, with a simple two-conductor wiring arrangement (anode + Brown, cathode – Blue) for integration into cameras and vision controllers. The unit’s nominal center-to-lens distance is 0.3 m, making it suitable for close-in illumination next to the field of view. Construction uses SPCC sheet metal with an acrylic resin diffuser, and it operates in 0–40°C with 20–85% RH (no condensation); storage is −20 to 60°C, 20–85% RH (no condensation). The FPQ-75 is part of CCS’s FPQ series of low-angle lights, designed for high-output red illumination to improve contrast on metals, plastics, and coated parts in inline or benchtop machine-vision setups.
