Lenovo RackSwitch G8264 is a 1U data-center switch that combines 48 x 10 Gb SFP+/SFP downlinks with 4 x 40 Gb QSFP+ uplinks for high-density server connectivity. In a 1U chassis measuring 17.3 in wide by 19.0 in deep, it delivers 1.28 Tbps of non-blocking switching throughput and 960 Mpps with about 880 nanoseconds of latency. The unit includes dual hot-swappable power supplies and four hot-swappable fans, supports stacking of up to eight switches under a single IP and management interface, and provides Virtual Fabric and OpenFlow support, along with flexible QSFP+/SFP+ connectivity and breakout options to split 40 Gb into four 10 Gb links.
