The AVTRON HS45-WASXX8PGA004 Incremental Encoder is a heavy‑duty, hollow‑shaft magnetic encoder designed for rugged industrial use. It provides quadrature A and B channels with a marker (A, /A, B, /B, Z, /Z) and supports an optional second isolated output, all powered from a universal 5–24 VDC supply (typical current 100 mA no load; up to 3000 mA instantaneous). With a PPR range of 8–5000 and a maximum speed of 5000 RPM, it can handle a wide variety of motor sizes and application speeds; its frequency response extends from 0 to 165 kHz. Construction is rugged: cast aluminum housing, fully encapsulated electronics, and a magnetic sensing system free of optics that tolerates harsh environments.
