Description:
IP-AD48M-16 is a high-density Industry Pack analog-to-digital converter module from Alphi Technology that provides 48 simultaneous input channels at 16-bit resolution. Built around fast, 16-bit successive-approximation ADCs, it accepts bipolar input signals at rates up to 250 ksps and uses a high-speed buffer amplifier with track-and-hold front ends capable of handling source bandwidth up to 8 MHz. Acquisition can be started by the host, a write to an IP register, the IPSTROBE signal, or an external trigger, with data readout either through the on-board FIFO or directly from the ADC if bypassing the FIFO is desired. The sampling clock can be sourced from an internal divider, the TCLK0 input, IPSTROBE, an external clock, or the host, enabling flexible timing and synchronization with other system components. As a member of the IP family, this module is designed for industrial data acquisition and control applications such as process monitoring and instrumentation where dense multi-channel conversion and 16-bit accuracy are essential.
