Industrial iPS18-S5NO48-A12 is a cylindrical inductive proximity sensor designed for non-contact detection of metallic objects in automation and machine-control systems. It features an M18 × 1 threaded barrel with a flush 5 mm sensing distance and a compact housing length of 48 mm, making it suitable for tight spaces along conveyors, packaging machinery, material handling equipment, CNC machines, and robotic cells. The sensor provides an NPN normally open output, powered from 10–30 VDC, and draws less than 8 mA, with a maximum load of 200 mA and a switching frequency of 1000 Hz.
