Industrial MTM-100 Video Transceiver System Kit

AFI's Industrial MTM-100 Video Transceiver System Kit provides a single-channel FM video link over multimode fiber by pairing the MTM-100 transmitter with the MRM-100 receiver. The MTM-100 accepts baseband video inputs compatible with NTSC, PAL, RS-170, or RS-343, and converts them into an FM-modulated optical signal at 850 nm for transmission over multimode fiber; the MRM-100 at the receiving end demodulates the optical signal and outputs video. The link supports an optical loss budget from 0 to 12 dB and can reach up to 2.5 km in typical installations, enabling applications where fiber immunity and distance are required. The MTM-100/MRM-100 pair is designed for integration with AFI rack subracks and system kits and is typically powered from a 12 VDC supply (PS-12). This AFI solution is suitable for security camera deployments or other video monitoring tasks that require reliable video transmission over fiber.
