Industrial NC-20 Air Nipper

STAR SEIKI NC-20 MiniI Air Nipper NW3-20 is a compact, Japanese-made, air-powered trimming tool built for cleanly cutting plastic and resin parts. It uses a straight blade and a pull-push action, with the blade sliding across the workpiece to produce a smooth cut face, and it offers a maximum stroke of 3 mm. Operating at 0.39–0.49 MPa, the NW3-20 handles soft plastics and ABS resin up to about 2.8 mm in diameter (6.15 mm² cut area), making it well-suited for precise sprue trimming on injection-molded parts. Its footprint measures roughly 28 mm wide by 96.5 mm deep and 70.8 mm tall, enabling use in tight workspaces. This model is part of STAR SEIKI’s NC/NW-20 family, and an optional mounting bracket is available to secure NC/NW-20 tools in workstation setups. Originating in Japan, NW3-20 (and its NC/NW-20 variants) represent STAR SEIKI’s compact MiniI line designed for controlled, repeatable cuts on plastic and resin components.
