The TL400 Non-Intrusive Laser Level Sensor from NOVUS is a compact, non-contact transmitter designed to measure level, distance, and volume in tanks, silos, and bulk‑material vessels by projecting a laser to the surface and returning distance data for conversion into meaningful readings. It is offered in two output configurations: TL400-I with a 4–20 mA current output and TL400-V with a 0.5–4.5 V voltage output; each is equipped with a 150 mm cable and a fixed connector—4‑pin M12 for TL400-I or 3‑pin SuperSeal for TL400-V—and can be configured via Bluetooth using the SigNow mobile app. The sensor uses a ToF laser around 920 nm and provides a measurement range up to 4.000 m with an accuracy of up to ±2 mm (TL400-I); it can report level, distance, or volume depending on how the tank geometry is stored.
