Industrial PCRL5 7 Control Panel

The TELEGROUP PCRL5/7 Control Panel is a microprocessor-based automatic Power Factor Correction (PFC) controller that optimizes electrical power factor by automatically switching capacitor banks to match system demand. It provides 5 relay outputs (expandable up to 8), a backlit LCD with icons and multilingual text, and an auxiliary supply from 100–440 VAC at 50/60 Hz. It accepts input voltages up to 660 VAC L–L (346 VAC L–N) and uses configurable 1 A or 5 A CT current inputs, with true RMS voltage and current measurement and harmonic analysis up to the 15th order. The unit measures voltage 50–720 VAC L–L (50–415 VAC L–N) and current 0.025–1.2 A (1 A CT) or 0.025–6 A (5 A CT), and supports Modbus communication via USB, RS232, RS485, and Ethernet through optional EXP modules. Designed for low-voltage PFC panels in industrial and commercial installations, it is commonly installed in power distribution panels, motor control centers, manufacturing plants, commercial facilities, and utility electrical systems; maintenance teams and system integrators use it for repair, retrofit, expansion, or replacement of automatic capacitor bank control systems. Dimensions are 96 × 96 mm panel mount (91 × 91 mm cutout), with IP54 front protection and IP20 terminals, operating temperature −20°C to +80°C and storage −30°C to +80°C, and compliance to IEC 61010-1, IEC/EN 61000-6-2, IEC/EN 61000-6-3, UL 508, and CSA C22.2 No. 14. Common replacements include PCRL8/14, PCRJ8/14, and PFC406.
