Industrial PS120 240-AC85U-A Power Supply Unit

Schneider Electric’s PS120/240-AC85U-A power supply, marketed under Andover Continuum, is an UPS-enabled module designed to power the Continuum building-automation network. It accepts 120–240 VAC input (50/60 Hz) and delivers a 24 VDC supply to Continuum components such as I/O modules and the NetController II, with a UPS-rated output around 70 W for the AC85U-U family variants. The 24 VDC output is the standard feed for Continuum devices, while the 5 VDC option exists on the 25 W variant for powering external sensors. The UPS version includes built-in battery backup to maintain operation during mains loss, and when connected to a CPU module it can present two logic signals indicating AC power presence and low battery; if not feeding a NetController, those signals should not be used. This model is intended for industrial and commercial automation installations and is typically installed inside a Continuum cabinet to power the system’s controllers and field devices.
