The Athena RMAD15-000-001 is a Series RMA modular hot runner controller module that delivers microprocessor-based, single-zone temperature control for runnerless molding, rated for 15 A and covering a process range of 100–999 degrees Fahrenheit. With self-tuning operation, built-in diagnostics, and a user keypad that displays both the process temperature and the setpoint, it provides clear status indicators for heat output, alarms, Celsius/Fahrenheit, and manual versus closed-loop mode. Notable features include CompuStep bake-out to remove moisture before full power is applied, SafeChange hot-swap for safe module replacement, Type J or K thermocouple input (dip-switch selectable), current monitoring for average load, and bumpless auto/manual transfer; alarms can be preset at 30°F (17°C). It is CE compliant and designed to fit with major hot runner mainframes including D-M-E's G Series and Smart Series, ITC, MCS, Yudo, and Incoe, enabling straightforward integration into existing tooling and processes.
