The RuB S42 1-1/2" solder-end full-port brass ball valve is a two‑way shutoff valve designed for copper‑tube piping in industrial lines, featuring solder-end connections for easy direct copper tube installation and a full‑bore flow path that preserves system throughput. It is rated for 600 psi cold‑working pressure (WOG) up to 2" and 450 psi over 2" in non‑shock service, with a solder‑joint temperature range of -4°F to +366°F (-20°C to +170°C). Noted for durability, the standard construction uses a brass body and brass ball with PTFE seat seals, and components such as stainless steel ball and/or stem are available on request, along with other seating options in some configurations. The S42 designation identifies solder‑end connections rather than threaded or flanged options, and the valve is not recommended for throttling steam.
