Industrial SA-193 GR. B7 Stud Bolt

The ASTM SA-193 Grade B7 Stud Bolt is a high-strength chromium-molybdenum alloy steel fastener designed for high-temperature, high-pressure flange connections in safety relief valve systems. Measuring 1-5/8 in diameter by 8 in long, it can be configured fully threaded or double-end threaded with UNC, UNF, or 8UN options to suit application needs. The bolt is quenched and tempered to meet ASTM A193 / ASME SA193 Grade B7 specifications (AISI 4140/4142 composition) and delivers a minimum tensile strength of 125 ksi (860 MPa) and a minimum yield strength of 105 ksi (720 MPa), with at least 16% elongation and a maximum hardness of 35 HRC. It is compatible with ASTM A194 Grade 2H heavy hex nuts and rated for service up to 450°C (840°F). Commonly used on SRV inlet flanges, heat exchangers, pumps, compressors, and refinery equipment in oil & gas, petrochemical, chemical processing, and power generation facilities. Standards compliance includes ASTM A193, ASME B1.1, and ASME B16.5, and it is offered as a common replacement for A193 Grade B16, A320 Grade L7, or A193 Grade B7M studs.
