The Industrial Scientific Ventis MX4 Multigas Monitor is a portable four-gas detector that continuously monitors atmospheric conditions to protect personnel in potentially hazardous environments. It supports up to four gas sensors simultaneously and offers diffusion or optional pumped sampling to match your application, with available sensors including O₂, LEL, CO, H₂S, SO₂, and NO₂ for monitoring oxygen, combustible gases, and multiple toxic gases. Data logging is built in, storing approximately 90 days of readings for a 4-gas configuration, and the device provides audible, visual, and vibration alarms. Powered by rechargeable lithium-ion batteries (standard or extended), it is typically supplied with an industrial Scientific desktop charging cradle and housed in impact-resistant polycarbonate for durability in continuous industrial service. Common applications include confined space entry, oil and gas facilities, wastewater treatment plants, utilities, and manufacturing operations where gas monitoring is required. Certifications available include UL, CSA, ATEX, IECEx, with MSHA configurations available.
