Industrial SG-DRL2A Central Station Digital Line Card Module

The SG-DRL2A Digital Line Card Module is a two-line digital receiver card for Sur-Gard SG central station systems, designed to plug into a CPM2 Central Processing Module to extend the central monitoring station’s telephone input capacity. It supports two phone lines with independent per-line processing and offers patented Caller ID along with two-way voice reception, all while remaining hot-swappable for maintenance without powering down the CPM2. The DRL2A uses Sur-Gard’s native line-card protocol to transmit data through the CPM2 to the central station computer and supports multiple communication formats to fit a range of monitoring configurations. In typical installations, it expands an SG central station to handle alarm signals from field devices over standard telephone lines, enabling reliable event reporting and integration with central station automation workflows. Designed for commercial environments, the DRL2A enables scalable monitoring by permitting two independent lines to be monitored from a single CPM2 chassis, contributing to flexible, cost-efficient system growth.
