Industrial SI18-C5 Sensor

AECO SI18-C5 PNP NC inductive sensor is a compact M18-threaded proximity switch with a nominal 5 mm sensing distance and a normally closed PNP output, designed for fast, reliable metal detection in automation lines. It accepts a 10–30 VDC supply, draws less than 15 mA at 24 V, and can source up to 200 mA while providing short‑circuit and overload protection. Key electrical specs include a maximum output voltage drop of under 1.8 V, a switching frequency up to 1000 Hz, hysteresis under 10%, and repeatability at or below 3%. The device employs an M18x1 threaded housing and IP67 protection, making it suitable for challenging industrial environments. The sensing characteristics are specified as Sn = 5 mm, Sr = 5 ± 10%, and So = 0 ÷ 4.05 mm, enabling precise sensing of metal targets within a compact form factor.
