Industrial TKS-5001
Industrial TKS-5001
Description:
Industrial TKS-5001 is a wall-mount pneumatic room-temperature transmitter from Schneider Electric (formerly Invensys/Barber Colman) designed for proportional HVAC control with receiver-controllers. It converts ambient room temperature in the 50 to 100°F (10 to 38°C) range into a 3 to 15 psi output signal, enabling precise control of pneumatically actuated valves and dampers when paired with RKS-series receivers. The unit uses a sensitive bi-metal sensing element, features a beige plastic cover, and occupies a footprint of 4-3/8 x 2-3/4 x 1-5/8 in. with 5/32 in. diameter air connections. It requires clean, oil-free, dry air at nominal 20 psi through a 0.0075 in. (190 μm) restrictor, with a minimum supply of 18 psi and maximum 30 psi; air consumption is about 41.5 SCIM for the base TKS-5001 (69.1 SCIM for the TKS-5001-600 variant). Ambient operating limits are 50 to 100°F (10 to 38°C), while ambient storage/shipping limits extend from -40 to 150°F (-40 to 65°C). The TKS-5001 ships with mounting screws and one-inch copper tubes and is intended for installation in building automation systems where proportional control of HVAC dampers or valves is required.
