Industrial UFP11A-00 Inverter Communication Module

The SEW-EURODRIVE UFP11A-00 PROFIBUS DP-V1 Fieldbus Interface is a dedicated gateway that connects SEW inverter drives to a PROFIBUS DP-V1 network, enabling direct control, monitoring, and parameter exchange within SEW drive systems in industrial automation. As a PROFIBUS DP-V1 device, it uses a fixed ident number of 6004 hex (24580 decimal) for unique identification by the DP master, and supports mapping the inverter’s commands and status through a process data channel that can be one, two, or three I/O words in length. The module’s compact footprint measures 140 mm high, 110 mm long, and 75 mm wide, with an approximate weight of 0.30 kg, designed for installation in standard control cabinets or on backplanes used for SEW drive integration. Intended specifically for SEW’s modular inverter ecosystem, the UFP11A-00 serves as the communication bridge that enables high‑speed data exchange and parameter access over a single PROFIBUS DP-V1 connection to SEW inverters such as MOVIMOT and related SEW drive components.
