VKA380N is a three‑pole, Extended/Direct Handle Motor Disconnect Switch from Altech Corp. This non‑fused, manually operated device isolates a motor circuit for maintenance or emergency shutdown and is UL60947-4-1A listed. Rated for 80 A, it supports across‑the‑line motor starting up to 75 hp at 600 V and carries a general‑use current rating from 16 A to 150 A at 600 V. It can be configured for extended or direct handle mounting and is also available as a rotary switch for certain installations. With durable silver contacts and a 10 kA short‑circuit withstand rating when used with a back‑up fuse, the VKA380N provides reliable isolation in demanding environments. Wire connections accept 6‑70 mm² (4‑1/0 AWG) conductors, and the unit uses a yellow/red color scheme for clear visibility. Typical applications include control panels, motor‑control centers, conveyors, pumps, and fans in industrial automation where safe, code‑compliant disconnects are required for three‑phase equipment up to 600 V.
