Infinity Andover Controls EMX190 Expansion Module

The Infinity Andover EMX190 Expansion Module adds door control capability to Andover Infinity ACX700 Access Control Systems by providing a single card-reader input, a door-status input, a request-to-exit input, and a Form C relay door output, all powered from a 24 VDC Class II supply. The EMX190 is designed for modular expansion of Infinet field controllers; when used with an ACX700, up to two EMX190 modules can be attached for a total of four controlled doors. The EMX190A variant’s reader input is designed for ABA magnetic stripe cards, while the standard EMX190 input supports reading Wiegand or Proximity card formats. All EMX190 modules integrate with Andover’s Infinet programming approach and carry UL 294 agency listing; the module draws about 192 mA at 24 VDC, and if the total current draw of all modules in the chain exceeds 110 mA, an external 24 VDC power supply is required. For proper operation, EMX190s should be placed as the last modules in the Infinet chain, with up to two EMX190 units occupying the final positions to extend door capability.
