The Intel SRFPN Processor is the Intel Xeon Gold 6234, a server-grade CPU in the 2nd Generation Xeon Scalable family (SRFPN) designed for compute-heavy workloads in data centers. It delivers 8 cores / 16 threads with a 3.30 GHz base clock and up to ~4.10 GHz turbo, paired with 24.75 MB of Intel Smart Cache and a 150 W TDP. Built for enterprise rack servers and virtualization hosts, it uses the FCLGA3647 socket, supports up to 6-channel DDR4 memory, PCIe Gen3 I/O, and 10.4 GT/s UPI interconnect, plus virtualization and security features such as Intel VT-x, VT-d, AES-NI, and Secure Key. Typical deployments include virtualization clusters, databases, web services, and analytics platforms where reliable multi-core performance and strong per-core speeds matter, with common replacements including Xeon Gold 6230, 6240, and 6226.
