Keyence DL-EP1 EtherNet/IP Communication Module

The Keyence DL-EP1 EtherNet/IP Communication Module provides real-time Ethernet/IP connectivity for sensor networks, connecting sensor amplifiers to PLCs and centralized controllers in automation environments. It is commonly installed in automated inspection systems, production lines, and material handling equipment where sensor data must be integrated into Ethernet networks. The module supports EtherNet/IP with both implicit and explicit messaging, offers cyclic and UCMM/Class 3 communication, and handles up to 64 connections. It supports a 10BASE-T/100BASE-TX interface with 10/100 Mbps transmission and a maximum cable length of 100 m. Up to 15 sensor amplifiers (D-bus compatible) can be connected, and the unit operates from a 20–30 VDC supply with power consumption of ≤1500 mW. Operating temperature ranges from -20°C to +55°C and humidity from 35% to 85% RH (non-condensing). The housing is polycarbonate and the unit weighs approximately 70 g.
