The Mellanox Technologies MSX6002FLR InfiniBand spine module is a 36-port FDR (56 Gb/s InfiniBand) spine module designed to plug into Mellanox SX6500-series chassis and provide the core switching fabric for high-performance networks. It uses a SwitchX-based switching fabric with 36 QSFP+ ports that support InfiniBand and Ethernet VPI, enabling low-latency, high-throughput interconnects within modular chassis. Commonly deployed in data centers, HPC clusters, AI/ML workloads, and storage networks, the MSX6002FLR delivers ultra-low latency and scalable bandwidth for large-scale compute fabrics; compatible chassis include SX6506, SX6512, SX6518, and SX6536. RoHS-6 compliant with chassis-managed cooling and an internal blade form factor (hot-swappable depending on the chassis).
