Minarik MM301U DC Motor Control

The MM301U DC Motor Control is a chassis‑mounted, single‑quadrant SCR drive in Minarik's MM300/MM500 family that accepts 115 VAC or 230 VAC input and provides DC motor speed control for brush motors up to 2 HP. The unit outputs 0-90 VDC when powered from 115 VAC and 0-180 VDC from 230 VAC, with a maximum armature current of 10 A, and supports open‑loop operation or closed‑loop control with tachogenerator feedback. For 115 VAC, the rated power range is 1/8–1 HP; for 230 VAC, it is 1/4–2 HP. The MM301U includes field/shunt supply options at 50/100 V, on‑board fusing, and integrated isolation that accepts floating or grounded control signals (0-10 VDC or 4-20 mA). It also offers on‑board Start/Stop control via a latching relay (3‑wire Start/Stop), tach feedback for tighter speed regulation, and multi‑turn trim pots for precise minimum and maximum speed settings. A potentiometer kit (202-0003) is included with purchase to facilitate manual speed adjustment. The drive features diagnostic LEDs for Current Limit and Power and is designed to accommodate either open‑loop or closed‑loop configurations, depending on the application, with robust protection options to simplify implementation in industrial DC motor systems.
