The Moog Animatics SM34405D SmartMotor is a NEMA 34-size integrated servo system that combines a brushless motor, drive electronics, controller, encoder, and communications bus in a single compact package. It delivers 12.94 in-lb (1.46 N·m) continuous torque with a 40.38 in-lb (4.56 N·m) peak torque, 438 W nominal continuous power, and a no-load speed of 3,800 RPM; maximum continuous current is 11.69 A at 3,300 RPM, with peak power of 820 W at 2,350 RPM. The unit is designed to run from a default 48 V supply (graphs show other voltages) and uses an 8,000-count encoder for feedback, with a 0.375 in (9.53 mm) shaft and a weight of 5.5 lb (2.49 kg).
