National Oil Seals 417316 Radial Shaft Oil Seal

The Timken National 417316 radial shaft oil seal (MPN 417316) is a multi-lip, spring-loaded seal designed to retain lubricants and prevent contaminants from entering rotating equipment. It uses a nitrile (NBR) sealing element in a steel-case, inner-case construction (Type 41, Series 410000) and fits a 2.750 in shaft with a 3.756 in outside diameter, a 3.751 in housing bore, and an overall width of 0.375 in; the Redi-Coat finish aids service in machinery. Rated for up to 3000 ft/min shaft speed and 7 psi with operating temperature from -40°F to 225°F (-40°C to 107°C), it also provides misalignment tolerance of 0.015 in at 800 rpm and 0.010 in at 4200 rpm. Common applications include general-purpose shaft sealing in industrial gearboxes, pumps, reducers, conveyors, electric motors, compressors, and other power transmission equipment.
