Omron CS1W-MAD44 Analog Input Output Expansion Unit

The Omron CS1W-MAD44 analog I/O expansion unit adds four analog inputs and four analog outputs to a CS1-series PLC, enabling field-level analog signals to be converted for PLC logic and to drive actuators through the backplane interface. Mounted in the CS1 PLC rack, it supports voltage or current signals depending on the model (for example 0–10 V or 4–20 mA) for both input and output channels, with high-resolution A/D and D/A conversion that is model dependent. It provides status LEDs for I/O activity and is designed for industrial-temperature operation with an industrial environmental rating. Common applications include process control, temperature and flow monitoring, and pressure feedback across manufacturing lines, chemical plants, HVAC, water/wastewater systems, packaging machinery, and building automation.
