Omron DRT2-AD04 Smart Slave Analog Input Module

The Omron DRT2-AD04 Smart Slave Analog Input Module is a 4-channel remote analog input module for DeviceNet distributed I/O systems, delivering high-resolution voltage or current measurements to automation controllers in process control, packaging machines, conveyor lines, and other industrial equipment. This DIN-rail mounted device uses a terminal block for field wiring and is powered by 24 VDC, with RoHS-compliant (lead-free) construction and status LEDs for operation and communication. As part of the Omron DRT2 Series, the DRT2-AD04 operates as a Remote Analog Input Module (Smart Slave) to facilitate expansion, replacement, and reliable remote input integration within DeviceNet networks. Input type is model dependent (voltage or current), and conversion speed is model dependent, providing flexibility across different sensing tasks. Applications include temperature control systems, pressure monitoring, and flow measurement where remote analog inputs improve system flexibility and reduce wiring complexity. The module supports an operating temperature range of 0°C to 55°C and is commonly replaced by Omron DRT2-AD08, CJ1W-AD041, or CJ1W-AD081.
