The Omron DRT2-OD08 is an 8-point remote I/O terminal that delivers distributed transistor output control over DeviceNet, enabling decentralized automation in control panels, conveyors, packaging equipment, and production lines. It uses NPN transistor outputs at 24 VDC with a rated current of approximately 0.5 A per point, and the outputs are accessed via screw terminals on a DIN rail with an external 24 VDC power supply. LED indicators provide per-output status, and built-in short-circuit and overload protection support reliable operation in industrial environments, with an operating range of 0°C to +55°C.
