Omron E3S-R1E42 Photoelectric Switch Module Sensor

The Omron E3S-R1E42 Photoelectric Switch Module Sensor uses retro-reflective, non-contact sensing to detect the presence, absence, or position of objects in industrial environments such as packaging machines, conveyors, and automated production lines. It features an infrared LED light source, 12–24 VDC supply, and an NPN transistor output with a pre-wired cable, all packaged for bracket-mount installation with IP67 protection. With a sensing distance of approximately 1 m (model dependent), a high-speed response, and an operating temperature range of -25°C to 55°C, this sensor maintains reliable detection in demanding environments.
