Omron E5CN-HR2M-500 Digital Temperature Controller

The Omron E5CN-HR2M-500 Digital Temperature Controller is a compact, panel-mounted PID temperature controller designed for industrial temperature control systems. It accepts universal inputs (thermocouples, RTDs, voltage, and current) and supports sensors such as B, E, J, K, T, R, S, Pt100 and others, with 0–10 V, 0–20 mA, 1–5 V, or 4–20 mA analog input options. Powered by 100–240 V AC, it provides a single control loop with relay output for actuation and two auxiliary alarm outputs, plus two event inputs for integration with other automation signals. The device uses a high-resolution 5-digit, multi-color display and delivers fast response with an approximate 60 ms sampling speed, and it is rated for -10°C to 55°C operation. Temperature measurement is sensor dependent, with a broad range of -200°C to 2300°C, enabling precise control across processes ranging from plastic molding to furnaces and packaging equipment, where stable PID control and universal sensor compatibility are required.
