Palo Alto Networks PA-5050 Firewall Network Security Appliance

The Palo Alto Networks PA-5050 Firewall Network Security Appliance is a 2U rack-mount network security firewall designed for enterprise-scale deployments in data centers, telecom networks, and high-traffic corporate environments. It delivers firewall throughput up to 20 Gbps and threat prevention throughput up to 10 Gbps, with multiple Gigabit Ethernet ports and SFP/SFP+ support for flexible connectivity. IPsec VPN and SSL VPN are supported, and the device includes application control, intrusion prevention, anti-malware, and URL filtering to enforce security policies. Management is via web interface and CLI with centralized management support; it uses dual redundant AC power supplies and a redundant cooling fan system, and operates from 0°C to 40°C in a 2U rack-mount form factor. Common replacements include PA-5220 and PA-5060.
