Panasonic Electric Works SX-22 Photoelectric Sensor
Panasonic Electric Works SX-22 Photoelectric Sensor
Description:
Panasonic Electric Works SUNX SX-22 is a compact, die-cast photoelectric sensor from the SX-20 family built for dependable detection in tight spaces on manufacturing lines. It operates from 12 to 24 V DC with ripple under 10% and draws up to 50 mA, delivering two NPN transistor universal outputs that can be wired for light-on or dark-on sensing. The rugged IP62 housing uses a zinc die-cast body with a front PVC cover, and the unit weighs about 150 g; a 1 m cable assembly (4-core, emitter side 2-core) is included, with the SX-21-3L variant noting a glass lens. Note that SX-22 is a discontinued model in this lineage (last time buy March 31, 1999) and related SX-21 and SX-21-3L configurations show ranges up to 5 m (through-beam SX-21) or about 700 mm (diffuse SX-21-3L).
