Panasonic NA2-N8 Ultra-Slim Through-Beam Sensor delivers eight independent optical axes for reliable multi-point presence sensing in tight spaces, making it ideal for conveyors, packaging machinery, and assembly lines where wide-area detection across multiple axes is required. As an emitter/receiver pair, it uses infrared light to provide a sensing distance up to 3 meters (typical) and a detection height of about 140 mm (model dependent), with an IP65-rated enclosure suitable for dusty or damp industrial environments. The unit operates from 12–24 VDC and provides an NPN transistor output, with a cable connection and a slim body designed for bracket mounting; operating temperature ranges from -10°C to 55°C.
