Panasonic SF2-EH16D Safety Light Curtain Receiver

Panasonic SunX SF2-EH16D is the receiver unit (suffix D) of the robust Type 4 SF2-EH safety light curtain, designed for machine guarding in industrial environments and intended to pair with the SF2-EH16 emitter to form a 16-beam curtain. For the 16-beam variant, the protective height is 300 mm, and the enclosure is 35 mm wide by 35 mm deep with a height equal to the protective height plus 92 mm, with a combined emitter+receiver weight of approximately 1.3 kg; the housing is aluminum with an ABS cap, IP65 rated, and rated for -10 to +55 °C. The SF2-EH16D uses infrared LEDs at 870 nm and supports DC-12 or DC-13 safety circuits, delivering ON when all beams are received and OFF when any beam is interrupted or a fault is detected; it also includes an emission-halt test input and an interference-prevention function. In system integration terms, you can connect up to four SF2 curtain sets in series or parallel (up to 192 beam channels total), with accessories such as the SF2-EH-TR test rod and MS-SF2-1 mounting bracket, noting that the SF2-EH series is listed as discontinued.
