The Pepperl+Fuchs MHP-TE2AQ Photoelectric Sensor is a compact miniature optical sensor engineered for non-contact object detection in industrial automation and machine control systems, delivering reliable presence detection and position sensing on conveyors, packaging lines, and assembly processes to support applications in industrial automation, packaging, material handling, and machine control. As part of the MHP Miniature High Performance family, it supports multiple sensing modes—diffuse, retroreflective, through-beam, and fiber optic—and uses an infrared or visible red LED light source (series dependent) to deliver dependable sensing with a 2 m attached cable and a thyristor output powered from 20 to 260 VAC at 50/60 Hz. Its industrial thermoplastic housing is panel- or bracket-mountable, with IP65 protection and an operating temperature range of -25°C to +55°C, making it suitable for harsh environments across conveyors, packaging machinery, material handling systems, and other manufacturing equipment; it also carries CE, UL, and CSA certifications.
