Raychem CSJA-JCN EG-3513M5 Splice Kit With Shear Bolts

Raychem CSJA-JCN/EG-3513M5 is a cold-shrink inline splice kit for single-core jacketed concentric neutral (JCN) cables used in 15–35 kV distribution networks. The kit accepts 1/0–350 kcmil conductors and uses copper mechanical shear-bolt connectors as part of the joint assembly, with a silicone rubber housing that seals and insulates the splice around a shielded JCN conductor. Designed for 1-core JCN cables, it supports inline splices on shielded JCN cables and is suitable for underground or outdoor deployments where a heat-free, field-installable splice is required. Installation relies on cold shrink technology, and the silicone sleeve provides environmental sealing around the conductor and shield. The CSJA-JCN/EG-3513M5 variant is within TE Connectivity’s Raychem CSJA-JCN family, delivering a 15–35 kV solution with copper shear-bolt interfaces up to 35 kV.
