Raychem CSTI-153G Miscellaneous Cable and Wire Accessories

Raychem CSTI-153G is an indoor, cold-shrink power cable termination designed for 1-core XLPE/EPR-insulated cables in the 500–750 kcmil size range and rated up to 15 kV. The three-skirt assembly is pre-expanded on an easy-to-remove spiral holdout, enabling straightforward installation in compact spaces with a pull direction toward the lug. It features extra-long geometric stress control and a void-filling mastic designed to reduce termination positioning errors during final assembly. The termination accommodates a minimum insulation diameter of 0.97–1.35 inches (24.5–34.5 mm), aligning with medium-voltage polymeric shielded cables used in indoor distribution networks. This CSTI family component is engineered for durability in challenging environments, offering weathering, UV and ozone resistance, along with chemical- and fungus-resistance, helping ensure long-term reliability in indoor facilities.
