Raychem JBM-100-A Multiple Entry Power Tee Connection

The Raychem JBM-100-A Multiple-Entry Power-Tee Connection is an all-in-one polymer junction box assembly that functions as a power connection, splice, and tee for up to three Raychem heating cables (BTV, QTVR, XTVR, HTV, or VPL). It integrates the functions of a connection kit with insulation-entry capability, and its rugged stand permits installation with up to four inches (100 mm) of thermal insulation around the cable run. Installation features include a cold-applied core sealer that requires no heat gun or torch and a silicone-free, noncuring sealant that allows maintenance re-entry. The unit uses spring-type terminals—four conductors plus two ground—and accepts one ¾" entry and two M25 glands (JBM-100-A configuration), with an approximate length of 8.6 inches (220 mm) and IP66 ingress protection for harsh environments. It is approved for use in hazardous locations (FM, CSA, PTB and IEx) and is designed for Raychem heating cables in the BTV/QTVR/XTVR/HTV/VPL families; maximum pipe temperature depends on the connected heating cable, so refer to the cable specification for limits. The JBM-100 family also includes variants such as JBM-100-L-A with an integrated LED indicator, and accessories like JBM-100 STANDOFF, JB-DRAIN-PLUG-3/4IN, and JBM-SPA for pipe sizes ≤1 inch, while the kit is supplied with all installation materials except pipe straps.
