435NBX is a two-port ASCII to Allen-Bradley PLC gateway from Real Time Automation that moves serial ASCII data between legacy devices and PLCs over EtherNet/IP. Port 0 supports RS-232, RS-485, or RS-422, while Port 1 is RS-232, enabling two ASCII devices to feed data into a single AB PLC, with data written directly to user-defined tags or registers in the PLC data table via a browser-based configuration. The gateway supports ControlLogix, CompactLogix, FlexLogix, MicroLogix, SLC 5/05, and PLC-5E PLCs (one PLC at a time), with Net ENI support and both connected and unconnected messaging options.
