Real Time Automation's 460ETCPBS-N70PB Protocol Gateway acts as a Profibus DP to Allen-Bradley PLC bridge, moving data between a Profibus Master and up to five Allen-Bradley PLCs with no PLC polling required. It maps Profibus bytes directly into two AB data-table areas—one write-only and one read-only—and supports up to 10 Profibus slots, with as much as 244 bytes exchanged in either direction. The gateway includes protocol translation, configurable alarms, status counters, and a diagnostic logging page, all accessible via a browser interface to help monitor activity and troubleshoot issues.
