Red Lion Controls CSDIO14R Digital I/O Module is a discrete I/O expansion for the Modular Controller Series Master, adding remote digital input and output capability to system controllers. It provides eight digital inputs and six relay outputs, with inputs isolated from outputs to help prevent interference between sensing and actuation. Each input can be independently configured for high- or low-active signaling and can be set to sink or source, with the ability to handle high- or low-frequency signals as needed for different field devices. The CSDIO family also includes the CSDIO14S variant, which uses six solid-state (NFET) outputs instead of relays, offering a different output style while preserving the same input capabilities. This module is designed to integrate with Red Lion’s Modular Controller ecosystem to extend I/O across automation and process-control applications, enabling centralized mapping of eight inputs to four zones and six outputs for remote control of actuators or indicators.
