Description:

Red Lion Controls IMP20060 Intelligent Process Meter is a base‑unit, panel‑mount meter designed for 0–50 mA DC process signals (including 4–20 mA, 10–50 mA ranges). It accepts up to 200 mA DC continuously with a 10 Ω input impedance (0.2 V at 20 mA) and provides a red LED display capable of reading from -99,999 to +999,999. The instrument updates at 2.5 readings per second, with a 2‑second settling time for step inputs that can be improved by programmable digital filtering. Accuracy is ±(0.02% of full scale + 1 digit) and a resolution of 1/40,000, making it precise for tight process monitoring.

The IMP20060 includes a programmable time‑base, scale factor (0.001–100.000) and low‑end cut‑out, plus 9‑segment multiple slope scaling for non‑linear inputs. Front‑panel totalizer/linearizer display selection, external totalizer reset/enable, and remote inputs (E1‑CON and E2‑CON) provide flexible control of features such as peak/valley indicators, resets, and alarm logic, with fast response (0.2 s max) to remote events. Normal mode rejection is 40 dB at 50/60 Hz and common‑mode rejection is 120 dB (DC to 50/60 Hz), supporting stable readings in electrically noisy environments.

Power is supplied by a 115/230 VAC base, and the unit supports optional configurations such as dual relay outputs, an optional retransmit analog output, and serial communications via a 20 mA loop. Environmental limits include 0–50°C operating temperature, up to 85% RH non‑condensing humidity (0–50°C), with span and zero temperature coefficients of 100 ppm/°C max and 1 µV/°C, respectively. The IMP20060 is part of Red Lion’s IMP intelligent meter family and is designed for precise process monitoring and simple integration into panel‑mounted control panels.
