Red Lion Controls PAXCDS40 Plug-In Card Module

Red Lion Controls PAXCDS40 is a Quad Setpoint Sourcing Open Collector Output Card designed to plug into a Red Lion PAX panel meter/controller. This plug-in option card provides four isolated PNP open-collector outputs for independent setpoint control, enabling you to drive external loads while keeping the main PAX electronics isolated. It is intended for use with PAX main circuit boards, slots in the PAX card connector, and only one card from the PAXCDS function type can be installed at a time. When installing, a jumper selects internal or external supply operation for the card to align with your system’s power configuration. The PAXCDS40 is part of Red Lion’s family of PAX option cards, alongside communications (PAXCDC) and analog (PAXCDL) cards, and is focused on expanding control outputs without adding complex wiring or external controllers. Typical applications include driving relays, indicator LEDs, or other logic-level loads from a PAX meter or controller in process control and automation setups.
